      Fantasy In Glass Glassworks

Everything in Stained Glass and Definitely Not Wedding Photography!

About Us

Yes, it's true; we are Canada's first and still only officially sanctioned (and largest) stained glass supplier. And we do only one thing here at Fantasy In Glass- and that's sell supplies… no wait, make that two things- sell supplies, and teach a whole bunch of courses… no wait, sorry, actually three things- supplies, courses and custom work. And repairs,- make that four things, yes, that's right- supplies, courses, custom work and repairs...

1)   We stock over 1500 colours (including a full range of both fusible and mosaic glasses and accessories) from over two dozen manufacturers, making us the largest supplier in Canada. Take a link ride to a virtual tour of Fantasy In Glass here.

2)   Free, no-strings attached studio space for non-commercial use. Use our grinders, irons, lightboxes and overhead projectors.

3)   A glass and art reference library, free and accessible to all our customers.

4)   No minimum, and wow, no charge for cutting any glass in the store (well, almost- I think it is morally wrong to split a sheet of Fremont mouth blown streaky flashed antique).

5)   A constantly changing selection of free stained glass patterns, always numbering well over 150!

6)   )  A series of free technical sheets on specific topics such as 'How to Patina', all easily downloadable and authored by Mikey Himself.

7)   An extensive selection of stained glass courses and seminars.

8)   A permanent selection of sale glass with over 15,000 pieces (I know 'cuzz we just finished inventory Pat)(and the sale glass is even on sale- buy 5, take 6, and so on...)

9)  Free technical advice - in person or by phone.

10)  Publisher of the industry standard 'FigLeafLet and FigLeafNet’.

11)  Daily shipping by Bruno, and the boys and girls at UPS and Canada Post

12)  The only store besides one other that accepts Canadian Tire money

13)  We're skipping this one like they do in elevators (apparently so do some of our competitors!)

14)  Enjoy the ambience of FIG while listening to an extensive collection of traditional blues. Mikey's latest discovery is Charlie Musselwhite’s newest CD- Delta Hardware- (recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Realworld Studios- an amazing website) and a great followup to Charlie’s last CD- his best ever- Sanctuary! Also check out Paul James blues website at www.pauljamesband.com. Expert audio advice and support graciously provided by Gary and the folks at Harrington Audio, purveyors of such fine audio equipment as Bryston, PMC, JPS Labs, Arcam, Totem and Proac. Call him at 1-705-742- 7716 and help support another small business, and nice guy too.

15)  Incredibly good looking staff-, especially Mikey (and sometimes Sam, Pat, Louie, Anja, Teenuh, Wally, Nikki, Richard and Ed).
