What You need to Get Started- by Zenia See
When it
comes to beadmaking you can go two routes;
1) The
economical route and
2) The
‘Other’ route
The economical route
-is a great way to go to get started if you
are not so sure you really
want to do this.
All you really need is;
-A Torch
head
-A
propane/MAPP gas tank
-Goggles
-Some
smaller items (glass, mandrels…)

The Other route;
-Torch (a
good one) like the Norton Minor
-BBQ
propane tank
-Source of
oxygen- either an old medical generator or an oxygen tank
-Kiln for
annealing your works of art
-Kiln
gloves
-Goggles
-Some
smaller items (glass, mandrels…)
To add to
both methods of beadmaking a book is always
recommended!
